There is something endearing about actually seeing your place in your family on a family tree. 
It reminds you that you "belong" somewhere special.

The "seed" of an idea for this two-generation family tree was born out of my experience as a Calligrapher. 
It was my heart's desire to see a family tree designed which would allow any family (including single parents and blended [step] families)
to have a family tree for their home.  By beginning with the immediate family members only, families who have been beseiged by pain,
intolerance,trauma and distress can have a fresh start, a new beginning--which is indicated by simply displaying those members who are
living in their own home.  Those who have more functional families are also sustained and edified by the visual reminder that they have a
place on "The Family Tree".  The reminder of being "Tied Together in Love" serves as a reminder to always strive for
loving interactions rather than making blaming, critical, negative choices and statements.
